We are pleased to announce that the EBC International Benchmarking Workshop 2026 will take place on 18-20 November 2026 in Madrid, Spain, hosted by Canal de Isabel II. This flagship EBC event brings together representatives of participating utilities from across Europe and beyond for 2.5 days of benchmarking, knowledge exchange, networking, and collaborative learning.
The workshop provides a unique opportunity to meet peers in person, discuss draft assessment results, explore the factors driving performance differences, and exchange practical experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions. Participants will engage in both plenary and interactive breakout sessions covering topics such as water losses, asset management, energy efficiency, climate resilience, sustainability, Net Zero ambitions, AI applications, and other emerging challenges facing the water sector.
This year's event is particularly special as it coincides with the 175th anniversary of Canal de Isabel II and the 20th anniversary of EBC's European Benchmarking Programme.
