If a company participates for at least two years, provides good data quality and actively participates in the programme, it can earn a 1-Star benchmarking certificate. Utilities that participate longer and get involved in improvement activities, can earn a 2-Star- or even a 3-Star certificate. After each benchmarking exercise EBC will issue certificates to qualifying companies. Recipients are entitled to display the EBC certificate ‘droplet’ on their website.
