IB2010-exercise: 45 participants
The IB2010-benchmarking exercise covers 45 water and/or wastewater utilities from all over Europe and beyond.
This year, EBC welcomes several new participants to the benchmarking network:
- EMASESA (Sevilla water utility) from Spain;
- Entsorgung & Recycling Zürich (ERZ) from Switzerland;
- Mosvodokanal (Moscow water utility, MSUE) from Russia;
- Municipality of Rotterdam from The Netherlands;
- SABESP (Cia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de Sâo Paulo) from Brazil;
- Service de l'Eau et de l'Assainissement de Paris (STEA) from France;
- SmVaK (Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace) Ostrava from the Czech Republic;
- Société Publique de Gestion de l'Eau (SPGE) from Belgium;
- and last but not least Thames Water from England.
Also, we welcome two "rejoiners" to the programme: Scottish Water from Scotland and the Municipality of Utrecht from The Netherlands.
At present, the exercise is in the stage of data collection & -analysis. Much attention is paid to the quality of the data, because this is essential for all performance comparisons. This stage will last from May to August 2011.
